What an awesome time
This was even better than the 1st Calico Jambo. The fellowship was a total blessing. Saw tons of folks from last year and then some.
This event was so awesome I can't seem to figure out where to start.
The biggest highlight in my opinion was Saturday evening. The evening started out with Catfish's incredible Taco Bar with Mexican Mariachi music. Then followed by Shwag leading us all with an amazingly God filled worship that was followed by Pastor Paul blessing us with the Word. Pastor Paul then asked a few to come up and share their brief testimonies. Ya just had to be there
The wheeling was great too
It was great to see the Holy Spirit work on this event. We arrived Thursday morning and we were quickly faced with challanges...but nothing that our Lord Jesus couldn't handle
We discovered that unbenounced to us a Spielberg film crew directed by Clint Eastwood would be occupying the main canyons, Lower Odessa and Lower Dorran trails. These trails were completely closed off at the bottom where they meet. We were really sweating bullets. It got us on our knees and the Lord prevailed. We did a re-con mission to see how we were going to salvage the wheeling delima. We had to go in at Mule canyon and enter the tops of the two main trails. We were able to make it within yards of the film sets at the bottom just above the Dorran Water fall...of which had a set constructed in the fall it's self But we were able to make turn-arounds at the bottoms of both trails. We used the Bismark Mine area as a starting point from entering from Mule Canyon. Made for a longer run, but that's wasn't a bad thing for most.
I have a bunch of resized photos hosted on my website: http://sandtastictoys.com/new_page_34.htm
Here are a few for now: Saturday Evening

Here are a few of the slight miss-haps that we had encountered. This is Bobble-Head Bob Tech watching over things:
Busted shock...twice
Jiggling Every Electrical Part:
Added cooling fan with bungies: (Bob's not too sure about this one, but it kept things much cooler
Leaking sidewall:
However Bob is kinda concerned with the Hi-Lift placement
Bob giving everyone a safety meeting after seeing that sketchy jack placement

That's an understatement!!!
Here's a few of the movie set that took up the lowest part of the two canyons:
Well, no sign of Clint...Anywhere!
I finally made a write-up of the jambo on my site. If anyone has any photos they want to add, send them to me via email at full size one at a time please. Then I can crop and re-size accordingly

I dig "Bobble Head Bob." Maybe I can get a picture with him next time?
