Hello future riding friends. My name is David Cullen. I reside in Indio, with my wife and 2 year old daughter. I ride bikes. I have a CRF250X with a Billit Big Bore kit, and a CR250R for when I feel fearless.
We attend JPL church in Rancho Mirage, on Monterey. It is a wonderful, spirit filled group, with an emphasis on maturing your spiritual gifts. If you ever feel like you aren't experiencing God to his fullest extent check out JPL. You may hear prophesy or be given a word from God by a total stranger. I call it the hippie church. I am more intelectually driven in my walk, Calvary has always been my real passion, but I am learning that the emotioanal side is where the real adventure takes place. You need to connect your heart with your mind to truly experience the holy spirit. Many of the members have formal training from Calvary, so we get a good mix.
I have been looking for a good riding club for 4 years!! It got to a point where I joined "In the Dirt Ministry" just to have a club. But they were too far away...so it really became just an email thing. Glad to finally find you all. We moved here from central Cal...near Modesto. A lot more riding up north....or at least a lot more areas and single track to ride.
I am planning a mens' ride/camping trip to Ocotillo/Borego Springs, Nov.14th & 15th, 2009. Nothing serious. Just Christian guys enjoying a weekend of riding. Please call me for info. 760-898-3944. We would love to meet as many off road enthusiasts as we can.
God Bless, & thank you for having this website. _________________ Looking for good friends to enjoy before the rapture. Have bike, will travel. Intermediate rider; 40 years old. Wife and daughter not into my hobby. |

welcome, we don't have much of a motorcycle group as of yet, some people have expressed intrest but nothing has become of it, I usted to ride a lot of observed trials back in the day when my boys were growing up, our group is mostly 4x4, and we tend to like the harder trails and do most of our camping and wheeling in Johnson valley, everyone is welcome _________________ bob

Welcome Dave!
As Bob said, not too many riders here YET, but it sure would be cool to see someone such as yourself to bring a group together. Feel free to use this forum as a gathering place providing it's for the glory of our Father.
I too have a bike. A yzf 426. I hardly ride it. When I got it, the guy before was going to race it in the Baja 1000, but never did. I need to re-gear it. It's geared WAY too tall. It's zero-to-hospital the way it's set up now. I need to change out both front and rear sprockets back to stock....one of these days. _________________ AceAlternators.com

No problem...just as you have invited me to your events; we would enjoy having any Christian men join our event. If not for the riding, then to become acquainted with others in the area that have similar passions and hobbies.
You can always head down the road to truck haven, then join us at night.
We would love to have you. Bring your 426...or take my 250x for a spin. _________________ Looking for good friends to enjoy before the rapture. Have bike, will travel. Intermediate rider; 40 years old. Wife and daughter not into my hobby. |
